The Madrasah

Learning the Quran, living its manners

The madrasah and Islamic school are the second pillar of Darul Aman: a place where children and adults learn the Quran, the Hadith and the character they teach.

  • Quran teaching for boys and girls of every age
  • An Islamic school focused on morals — Ikhlaaq and Fadail taleem
  • Admission open to any child, regardless of religion or nationality
One house, many doors

Everything a community needs,
under one roof

The project proposal covers the whole of life — from the first lesson of a child to the last prayer for the departed.

Islamic School

Islamic ethics and morals for boys and girls in separate sections — every child a role model. Open to any child, regardless of religion or nationality.

Islamic Library

Free membership, purchase and lending of books, with separate sections for male and female readers.

Marriage — Nikkah

Make Nikkah easy: wedding ceremonies (Nikkah and Walima) and a matrimonial forum where interested men and women can submit their profile.

Funeral & Burial

Ablution of the dead, Islamic funeral prayer (Janazah) and burial. Darul Aman bears all costs if someone is unable to pay.

Halal Slaughterhouse

Slaughter in accordance with the Sunnah, and a place to gather and offer Qurbani on Eid-ul-Adha.

Sports Hall

A fitness space with separate opening times for men, boys, women and girls — closed during prayer times.

District Prayer Rooms

Prayer rooms in Muslim-majority districts of Magdeburg, so no one is far from the congregation.

Free Bus Service

Differently-abled community members are picked up and dropped off at Darul Aman, free of charge.

Serving the creation of Allah

Students and community members already volunteer with Darul Aman today. These services are free of charge and available to anyone who contacts us for support — Muslim or not.

Welcoming students

Supporting incoming and international students in the city — arrival, paperwork, orientation and a first friendly face.

Translation & forms

Translating documents, filling out official forms and accompanying people as interpreters in public offices, hospitals and schools.

Time with the elderly

Spending time with older people and with those who are physically challenged — company, errands and care.

Food, not waste

Combating the wastage of food and feeding the homeless and hungry in Magdeburg.

Skills & language exchange

Exchange of expertise, learning German and other languages, and passing skills on within the community.

Rooted in faith,

Integration is not a slogan for us — it is daily work. Through student initiatives at universities like the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Darul Aman builds bridges between the Muslim community and German society: learning the language, serving the neighbourhood and being a reliable part of city life.

Our volunteers include IT professionals and students. We help mosques and non-profit organisations across Germany run modern, secure infrastructure — from digital donation systems to security cameras.

Donation systems & payment gateways

Digital donation kiosks, online giving pages and payment gateway integration — so every mosque can receive sadaqah safely and transparently.

Security camera systems

Planning and installation of camera and security systems for mosques and religious places across Germany.

IT infrastructure management

Networks, devices, e-mail and cloud setups for mosques and non-profit organisations — managed, maintained and documented.

Websites & software

Websites, member management and custom software support, built for the realities of volunteer-run organisations.

Ongoing support

A reliable contact for any IT question — remote help, on-site visits and honest advice without the agency price tag.
